Attached are non-animated pictures. They are used to relate to your pressure level . If you see them moving , then that means you have pressure. The speed of the movement is the level of your pressure. The higher that moving speed, the higher pressure you have.

Most chidren and old men only see static pictures and not moving. If you see the pattern moving in a slow motion, that means you have a bit pressure at this moment .

Test yourself reqularly with these pictures to know yourself better. Sometimes, it is good to have an appropriate pressure to push us to do better, but too much pressure can push us to the end of the edge resulting in sickness.

How to make an egg, Guangzhou style( Fake Egg)




During a recent raid on a wholesale centre in Guangzhou city, the capital of China's Guangdong province, a large quantity of fake eggs was seized.


Their wholesale price is 0.15 yuan (S$0.03) each - half the price of a real egg.Consumers have a hard time telling a genuine egg from a fake one. This is good news for unscrupulous entrepreneurs, who are even conducting three-day courses in the production of artificial eggs for less than S$150.

A reporter with Hong Kong-based Chinese magazine East Week enrolled in one such course.To create egg white, the instructor - a woman in her 20s - used assorted ingredients such as gelatin, an unknown powder, benzoic acid, coagulating material and even alum, which is normally used for industrial processes.

For egg yolk, some lemon-yellow colouring powder is mixed to a liquid and the concoction stirred. The liquid is then poured into a round-shaped plastic mould and mixed with so-called 'magic water', which contains calcium chloride. This gives the 'yolk' a thin outer membrane, firming it up. The egg is then shaped with a mould.

The shell is not forgotten. Paraffin wax and an unidentified white liquid are poured onto the fake egg, which is then left to dry.The artificial egg can be fried sunny-side up or steamed. Although bubbles appear on the white of the egg, those who have tasted it say the fake stuff tastes very much like the real thing.

But experts warn of the danger of eating fake eggs.Not only do they not contain any nutrients, a Hong Kong Chinese University professor warned that long-term consumption of alum could cause dementia.

SLEEPING WITH LIGHT ON MAY CAUSE CANCER

KIDS who sleep with the light on could risk leukaemia, parents were warned.

Scientists have found the body needs darkness to produce a chemical that fights cancer. Even switching the light on for the toilet, staying up late,ravelling across time zones, or the light from street lamps can stop enough melatonin being made, they say. The body needs the chemical to prevent damage to DNA and its absence stops fatty acids reaching tumours and preventing them growing.

Texas University Prof Russell Reiter, who led the research, said: "Once you go to bed you should not even switch the light on for a minute. "Your brain immediately recognises the light as day and melatonin levels drop." Rates of childhood leukaemia have doubled in the past 40 years. About 500 youngsters under 15 are diagnosed with the disease each year and around 100 die.

A conference on childhood leukaemia in London yesterday heard that people were being subjected to more light at night than ever. This suppressed the production of melatonin which normally happens between 9pm and 8am. Past research has shown those most affected, like shift workers, had higher levels of breast cancer. Blind people, who are not vulnerable to fluctuations of melatonin, have lower rates of cancer, it was found. Parents are advised to use dim red or yellow bulbs if their youngsters are scared of the dark.

Parkia speciosa (petai, twisted cluster bean, yongchaak or stink bean), is a plant of the genus Parkia in the family Fabaceae. It bears long, flat edible beans with bright green seeds the size and shape of plump almonds which have a rather peculiar smell, characterised by some as being similar to that added to methane gas.[1]

They are an acquired taste, but are popular in southern Thailand, Burma, Malaysia, Indonesia and North-eastern India and are sold in bunches, still in the pod, or the seeds are sold in plastic bags. They are exported in jars or cans, pickled in brine. Depending on the country of origin they may be labelled peteh, petai, yongchaak or sataw (sometimes spelled sator). They are best when combined with other strong flavoured foods such as garlic, chile peppers, and dried shrimp, as in "sambal petai" or added to a Thai curry such as Thai Green Curry of Duck.
When young the pods are flat because the seeds have not yet developed, and they hang like a bunch of slightly twisted ribbons, pale green, almost translucent. At this stage they may be eaten raw, fried or pickled. Young tender pods with undeveloped beans can be used whole in stir fried dishes. In North-eastern India, the seeds are dried and seasoned for later consumption. When dried the seeds turn black.
Petai beans or seeds look like broad beans. Petai has earned its nickname 'stink bean' because its strong smell is very pervasive. Like mature broad beans, they may have to be peeled before cooking. It lingers in the mouth and body. Like asparagus, it contains certain amino acids that give a strong smell to ones urine, an effect that can be noticed up to two days after consumption. Like other beans, their complex carbohydrates can also cause strong-smelling flatulence.
The petai tree can grow to about 90 feet (30 metres). It bears flowers in a light-bulb shaped mass at the end of long stalks. The flowers secrete a nectar that attract bats and other pollinators. The tiny flowers mature and die. Long, twisted, translucent pods emerge in a cluster of 7 or 8 pods. When those pods are mature, within them will reside the petai beans or seeds.
According to some research, eating petai as part of a regular diet can cut the risk of death by strokes by as much as 40%.[citation needed]

e. Avoid coffee, tea, and chocolate, which have high caffeine.

Johns Hopkinsh as recently sent this out in its newsletters. This information is being circulated at Walter Reed Army Medical Centers well. Dioxin chemicals cause cancer, especially breast cancer.

Dioxins are highly poisonous to the cells of our bodies. Don't freeze your plastic bottles with water in them as this releases dioxins from the plastic. Recently, Dr. Edward Fujimoto, Wellness Program Manager at CastleHospital was on a TV program to explain this health hazard.

He talked about dioxins and how bad they are for us. He said that we should not be heating our food in the microwave using plastic containers. This especially applies to foods that contain fat.

He said that the combination of fat, high heat, and plastics releases dioxin into the food and ultimately into the cells of the body.

Instead, he recommends using glass, such as Corning Ware, Pyrex or ceramic containers for heating food.

You get the same results, only without the dioxin. So such things as TV dinners, instant ramen and soups, etc., should be removed from the container and heated in something else. Paper isn't bad but you don't know what is in the paper. It's just safer to use tempered glass, Corning Ware, etc. He reminded us that a while ago some of the fast food restaurants moved away from the foam containers to paper. The dioxin problem is one of the reasons.

Also, he pointed out that plastic wrap, such as Saran, is just as dangerous when placed over foods to be cooked in the microwave. As the food is nuked, the high heat causes poisonous toxins to actually melt out of the plastic wrap and drip into the food. Cover food with a paper towel instead.

Sugar: Why is it so Addictive?

Fighting Cravings for Sweets
So I’ve always wondered why I crave sugar so much especially after I eat a meal. I have not gone one day without finding something with sugar in it to satisfy my urge. Some days I get a little carried away.

Why does this happen?
Sweet cravings come about for a number of reasons. In order to defeat these cravings, it is important to understand why they occur. Part of your cravings exist due to habit. You must have satisfied this craving in the past following a meal with something sweet. Then suddenly it becomes a part of your mindset. After every meal must come dessert. The good news is ALL Habits are learned, so this habit cam be unlearned as the result of practice and repetition.

Your cravings will continue to exist if you eat simple, refined carbohydrates or high sugar foods. The day you cut out the sweets is the day you take control and stop the cravings. Cravings exist because we feed them and allow them to exist. Yes, it is an addiction, but one we choose to have.
Take a peek at what is happening inside your body when you do make this choice. My hopes are that you will think twice before giving in.

Eating simple carbohydrates causes a spike in your blood sugar for these foods are quickly absorbed into the blood stream. This in turn gives you the temporary sugar high - it feels good….however, our body does not like this imbalance and a series of hormonal responses take place.

Your body produces an increased amount of the Insulin - a storage hormone. In order to facilitate this rush of insulin, glucagon - a release hormone - is diminished.
What does this hormone game mean to you? Each time you consume simple sugars and refined carbohydrates, you are doing nothing more than locking in fat.

Even worse? This cycle will continue for once your blood sugar levels hit bottom. You will Crash due to the excess insulin. Your body reacts once again for at this point your energy level bottoms out, you have trouble thinking clearly and you end up with cravings. You will inevitably crave sweets as these foods will raise blood sugar the quickest, getting you out of your slump.

Strategies to Eliminate your Sweet Tooth
1. Clean out the Kitchen. Keeping sweets in the house will actually sabotaging your chances to be successful. Replace the junk with supportive options. For example, fresh fruits and vegetable, nuts, string cheese, high fiber crackers, etc.

2. Keep a Food Log Are you eating every 3 to 4 hours? Skipping meals will cause your blood sugar levels to drop. Be sure each meal and snack includes the right balance of protein, fats and carbohydrates. Sometimes a craving occurs due to a lack of protein and/or fats in your meal and snacks. Simply eating an apple is not enough. Pair your apple with a handful of nuts or some diced cheese cubes.

3. Wait it Out Did you know a craving lasts for about 15 minutes - then it goes away. Make a list of things you can do to distract you for 15 minutes. When a craving hits….grab a bottle of water and get to that activity - you can even set a timer. Once you hit 15 minutes…your cravings are gone and you are EMPOWERED!

4. Are you Stressed? Some cravings are STRESS related. Practice other ways to cope with stress - go for a walk , spiritual connections, a cozy fireplace, hot baths…all these stimulate neurochemicals that activate regions of the brain that stimulate pleasure associated with eating something sweet.

5. Break Old Habits. One way to take control and make a change is to keep a journal - sure enjoy a big glass of water or cup of hot tea - but do so as you write down what you are craving…why you are craving it….give the craving a name and talk to it….find out what it wants….tell it why it is not welcome at this time….I know, sounds corny - but does help you gain insight and control over such thoughts and beliefs - then you have the power to change them.
By simply “doing” something different after dinner, you can overcome this habit. After dinner, brush your teeth, chew on a piece of gum, sip on some hot tea that has a naturally sweet taste (this one has been my lifesaver….a licorice based tea has a wonderfully sweet flavor).
Remove yourself from the environment where you normally had your sweet dessert or treat. If you normally eat it while watching TV - turn off the TV and distract yourself with a good book, play with your children, listen to some music, write in your journal….
You will be amazed at how powerful a few little lifestyle habits will give you the control you need to deal with and overcome those nagging cravings.

The definition of good nutrition needs to answer the question: Good for What? Cardiovascular disease is one of the most studied disorders in the world, where nutrition contributes to the risk of illness and harm. Many studies take a narrow view of risk factors and their role in holistic health. Memory loss, fatigue are difficult to quantify symptoms of illness, and do not fit into the cardiovascular risk assessment model.

Yes, you can still see advantages to cholesterol lowering in “normal “ people, but these advantages are far more difficult to measure, as the actual measured advantage is much lower.
In summary, cholesterol lowering, whether by diet or medicine has specific advantages for specific people with specific medical conditions. So it should be obvious that good nutrition is “good” depending on the clinical state (wellness) of the patient. Such advice needs to be individualized based one what is important to achieve for the patient.

These issues are rarely that simple. The addition of food preservatives is important to ensuring food safety for the rest of us. So it is not acceptable to blanket ban a “preservative” additive when many other people may end up suffering harm (e.g. from bad food), than may be injured by allergy. (which only a small number of people may have).

Cholesterol lowering and fat free diets are important for prevention of cardiovascular disease. However, immune processes generally run better at higher cholesterol levels. Certainly, many doctors have seen that very ill people drop their cholesterol as their body chews up the cholesterol reserves to build cells to help fight infection.

So the Paill Recommendation, is that in the absence of any specific indication to alter cholesterol levels (e.g. heart attack or stroke), cholesterol lowering and low fat diet is worthwhile to reduce cholesterol levels to physiological (normal or usual) levels. Certain sorts of high fat foods may be acceptable for the natural anti-oxidants or more specifically for the high levels of Omega-3 or omega-6 fatty acids that they contain.
